MSNBC TO MAKE ROOM FOR BOARDERS
D.C. NEWS OPERATION SHRINKS, RENTS SPACE TO UNIVERSITY
Another Casualty of Dem Victory
The Washington, D. C. studios of WRC-TV, which houses NBC news and MSNBC becomes another casualty of cutbacks. They will be rennovating their studios and offices and making room for the media department of the University of Washington in an effort to continue a presence in the natiion's capitol.
Trailing in the cable ratings by an embarrassing margin since before the elections, MSNBC's powerhouse lineup of talking heads- Chris Matthews, Keith Oberman, Chris Todd and Rachel Maddox- have continually been beaten by the entire lineup of FOX news.
Many viewers were put off by what seemed to be blatent bias in their reporting of the election and the constantly annoying use of the high-tech telestrator board used by bureau chief Chris Todd as well as the heavily pro-Obama propagandizing by Matthews and the vicious anti-Bush bashing by Oberman and Maddox.
